Capable Arts
The Capable Arts week-long camp is designed to teach disabled children various art forms and assist them in expressing themselves creatively. The program enables the children to work on self-esteem, social skills and motor skills in a fun and safe environment.
The 8th annual Capable Arts Camp was held June 23rd - 27th, 2008. Each day over 60 children participated in printmaking, painting, writing, music, and woodworking. The last day of the camp parents and friends were invited to a special presentation to showcase the children’s activities from the camp. Next camp is scheduled for June 2009.
